Idea.
All of our attacks are going to out enemies' base, stealing, and killing, but on different levels. But what about meeting up in a field somewhere and having a formal battle? Like the ones where the phalanxes line up and when a general gives the signal and they charge.

I thought about that, but when you can do that or stay at your base to get the benefits of all your defenses, it seems to be an obvious choice. Of course, at your base you could lose assets and whatnot if you stayed there...we'll keep it as an option. You can send a letter to somebody telling them where to meet you, and if they refuse, you knock on their front door, so to speak.

This seems stupid, as there would be no point to the war. Pikmin Wars isn't 2 big armies that are fighting each other, it's made of many small armies trying to loot others.
