Suggestion Alert!-No bases in caves. End Of Suggestion I would prefer that we put more rules for caves, (like it takes an extra day of travel for every sublevel) instead of just getting rid of them all together. But I really wouldn't mind if we got rid of them.

Well, that's one of the reasons I think they should go. We have tons of rules, and if we get rid of caves, we don't have to put in all the travel time and accessibility garbage and instead just say, "You can't put bases in caves". Thar be my opinion, any'ow.

A large base, I suppose, would be about the size of the little island in the middle of the lake in front of the Burrowing Snagret in the Awakening Wood. So, if you want to make a base in the tiled area of the Awakening Wood again, for example, you'd need to specify what part of it you were generally in. You couldn't fill the whole thing.

Yeah. Hopefully mods would be less sympathetic toward the defender in this case, as outright failure does not translate into a game over, which would allow for a more interesting game.

But things would have to be fairly well-preserved to actually take over a base, and you'd have to force the defenders out first. Of course, said defenders could retreat to another base.

I like the idea of seige. As far as removing caves, we could do that at first, but if we are running out of space we would need to either open the caves back up, or open up the Pikmin 1 areas. I found my guide, so I might be able to get some scans in by tomorrow.

Geeze, it's hard to segregate these rules into New Player and the Advanced category. Some of them, like multiple bases, seem so important, but technically a new player would only be dealing with their first for a while, so that has to go in the Advanced section, and all that stuff...
Well, whatever. I'll get it up as soon as I can. It doesn't actually take a huge amount of time, but I've been getting loads of homework lately...which unfortunately means that I can't write much of A Wollywog's Tale, either...well, I'll give these things turns, so AWT will probably be next.

I have a suggestion. I suggest that first bases can't be in caves, but you can make newer bases in caves, mainly to mine resources.

Well the idea now is to nix the caves. They'll probably only see the light of day (never cause their caves lol) if the Pikmin 2 maps fill up.
