You mean that we aren't allowed to use the images? Some of those are official art from the game, so that shouldn't be a problem. I can't use them to make a map of the worlds. Oh, well, that's obvious. Perhaps we should just say that whenever you leave one area, you start out next to the one nearest you. We just have to put them in a square shape and it'll be easy to see. Rydon: That's a very good idea! However, I think that the base defense bonus needs to be toned down to just 5 days. Because you have to build them individually, they do gain some extra power. With a 10-day bonus, I could chug out 1-day turrets yet they would be as good as 11-day ones. It would be like multiplying my defense production by ten.

We should just make a basic map so we can start playing before people get bored and drift away.
We can improve it later if people want.
Oh, and if we're letting people get Captains as projects, I take it they can't get them via troop again as well? Or would those be extra, free captains? And how long would a Captain project take?

You'll still get captains from troop gain for free.
I think a 50 day project for a Captain should be right.

I wish I could help, but I don't have any knowledge about making maps.
We should probably set up a the game soon. Changes can be added as we go along.
We have Tinfoil's map of Pikmin 2. We could use that, maybe limit bases to those area. Once we get the Pikmin 1 map ready, then people can start colonizing those areas.

We've got, I think, all the things about Multiple Bases figured out.
We've got the way to get more Captains figured out.
Now, some questions:
Will the troop totals remain the same? How many Supers can you have? How many Rocket Ships can you have?

We need to compile these and get some polls up. It won't matter if we flood the General board with poll topics, we can just delete them later. Ya I don't think anybody besides me said anything but I think Wildlifes should get two per base Two unless somebody thinks it should be one or three

Two Super per base is ok. I assume that means that each base entitles you to two more Super, not that only two Super are allowed to stay at a base.
I think maybe we could have no limit on Rocketships. It's not likely that anyone would even get the HFRM needed to build more then two. And, if someone does get enough HFRM, then they should be rewarded for doing the near impossible. It also reduces the number of rules slightly.

I think that the number of Supers that can stay at a base should be 4.

I like Hachi's idea of no limit to rocket ships. I mean, someone will be lucky to just get one, so why hard cap it? Bases should support more total supers. 2 per each new base sounds like a good increase, but I'm not sure if a cap on how many may actually be present at a base would be needed. The continent idea sounds pretty good, and it provides a good balance between far inland and coastal bases. The coastal ones would have large access to many areas, but many armies would have easy access to them as well. The inland armies are more protected, but have less access to everyone else.

Yup, and naval bases will be the only ones that have access to the minor races, which can be located on random islands in the sea.

I think they'll be available to anybody by the ocean. I don't see any problems with that, although maybe somebody else has thought up one that I can't see. That often happens.
By the way, on a completely unrelated topic, I'm writing a new Pikmin fan fiction, and this time, I'm trying to make the writing not completely suck. Keep an eye out for it on Fanfiction.net.
