I like the "state" idea, but I'm not sure how we would use it.

I think we should keep the "class" bonus, but just throw the whole citizen/city thing out of it.

I like the areas being nations things, if we were willing to work on that idea.

I think citizens add a needed new layer of depth to the game and, If done well, could be a great addition to the game. Also, Perhaps they could be like greek city-states?

Also, Perhaps they could be like greek city-states? What do you mean by that? And we have enough layers of depth already as it is.

I support this nations idea. This is a the fresh breath of air I've been looking for in Pikmin Wars(and SMKW to an extent). One question though: What about blockading? Are we going to be able to do that? I know it could be complicated, but it can add some strategic points to the game.

Well, that's another thing we'll need to work with. For example, maybe we should draw up a map of the whole world connected or something. Waterways and such could be connected, and so we could draw blockades on it and stuff to make it understood easily. Good idea.

Blockades could be nice. Maybe a surrounded base can't receive Petals or resources. Sending letters could be stopped maybe, based on a random generator.
I think the best way to implement the changes, once we get them finalized, would be to have them as veteran rules. They don't affect nor can be used until 10-14 days after an army is set up.

All I think we should add is the World Map, and Multiple Bases, or we risk that the game become too complicated.
I mean, we didn't need a reason for our armies to exist before, other than the one the Generals had.
And if we made teams according to where our armies our, it would take out from the fun. We should be able to attack whoever we want.
The blockades could make the game very stategical. You could send hundreds of your troops to guard a popular trading/transporting route, and make everyone pay bounty from what they have.
Or they could block off an enemy route so they can't buy last minute supplies and such.

I mean, we didn't need a reason for our armies to exist before, other than the one the Generals had. So where are these troops coming from? They're just showing up for no reason? I was thinking of something more simple, like having a Frigate blockade to prevent aircraft from moving over an area, but I guess that could work too.

Well, I don't know, and it really doesn't matter, but that whole nation thing is just a lot of complications to make one part of the game a bit more reaslistic. Well, it doesn't matter to me, but it may metter to everyone else, so whatever.

Nonetheless, more complications will mean more time for battle writers and players, so we may want to just do what Doomship mentioned.

Anyway, we don't NEED new members we just want them. Besides we get them quite slowly anyway. I don't think It would make much of a difference. Not to mension It isn't that much more complication.
