K, anyone know where I can get a map of the Shower Room, floor 1? I've looked at a ton of youtube videos, and nothing comes up on a google search. I never got that far in Pikmin 2, so I wouldn't know what it looks like from memory.

I think floors are generated randomly and there is no specific map. Its not a map but:
Enemies: Wogpoles, one Wollywog that falls from the ceiling, one Watery BlowhogTreasures: Merciless Extractor (NTSC) / Divine Cooking Tool (PAL) Electric generators should block the paths. Apart from the enemies, some boulders may fall from the ceiling. However, the level has a simple layout, so the treasure should be easy to find.

I think that creatures in the actual level shouldn't matter just pools of water and such

Just picture it as random small islands in pools of water. No one gets the areas exactly right.

That was generally the idea I had when I chose this location. That and I couldn't think of anything else/didn't know what wasn't taken.

Sublevel 1 of the Shower Room is just a bunch of tiles in generally square-shaped rooms and patterns. In my playthroughs, I've noticed that it's generally one large room, one medium-sized one, and one small room, and then some very short passages going from one to another.

"The Heretics will be defeated."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The troops of the Planet Protectors stood outside the hole of the Shower Room. The rough, cobalt tiles felt hard on their feet, but there wasn't so much of a complaint to be heard. There was, however, some murmuring among the new recruits. They were still unsure about killing their brethren, the so called "Heretics." Master Hishiro, Muta the Elder, and the Bulborian Council all sat on the walls beside the shower room, huddled together discussing plans out of the troops view. The air around them was quite cold, and the troops were almost a bit eager to enter the warm cavern.
Master Hishiro walked forward, and the troops hushed themselves. "It is our duty, my troops" Master Hishiro began, in a loud, shrill commanding voice, "to cleanse this cave, and every other one like, of evil. What is evil? The heretics, the traitors inside are embodiments of evil. They follow these so called "magic men" who live in suits. These men are defiling and corrupting our land, OUR birthright. We must stop them at all costs." With that, Master Hishiro stepped backwards toward the council, with such precision not to hit any of them that the council must have thought he had eyes in the back of his head.
Muta the Elder stepped forward, a bit delirious with power. She went over the plan with the troops, at least, the part they needed to know. She ordered to approach the hole, and the troops clambered to towards it. They all went in, including the Council, Master Hishiro, and Muta the Elder. Muta ordered the Caustic Dveewils to melt the tiles underneath their feet, which they did with pleasure. Soon, their feet would feel the nice soft dirt. After a few moments, the tiles were gone and some bare dirt was revealed. Muta ordered all of the Brown Pikmin and burrowing Bulborbs to dig a tunnel underground. The Breadbugs were ordered to help as well.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Meanwhile, Sir Armos has similar plans. The enemy was already much farther in their attack, as Sir Armos only realized he was being attacked when he saw a mass of troops falling down the entrance to his cavern. He posted White Pikmin to watch for a ground attack, while ordering Brown Pikmin of his own kind to dig under the enemy. 2 of them made a different tunnel, to their allies base. The Recon Boat was being launched to attack them, with Orange Pikmin on top and near (jumping on the stalagmite to get to the other island [and making considerably slow progress.]) Green Pikmin where taking off from the base to attack the enemy forces, when the White Pikmin spotted something.
A large, enemy tunnel was made parallel to their own. Sir Armos ordered his remaining Brown Pikmin to set up and ambush next to them on both sides. What he didn't know, however, was that Muta the Elder posted some White Pikmin just incase something like this happened. The White Pikmin saw the attack as the Brown Pikmin were coming towards them, and warned the diggers. The troops set up in a defensive position, ready to take on the would-be-ambushers. As the Brown Pikmin broke into the sides of the hole, the Antenna Beetles inside the hole began to take control of their own Pikmin. With the Yellow and White Pikmin forces bolstered by these new psuedo-allies, they overwhelmed the Brown Pikmin. Sir Armos came down to help Brown Pikmin, and started whistling like bad at the Brown Pikmin. He ordered them to attack the Antenna Beetles, and as their numbers fell the Brown Pikmins' rose.
Of course, they were still madly outnumbered, and Sir Armos ordered a retreat when only 50 Brown Pikmin where left. He made one final whistle, and escaped with 60 Brown Pikmin. Once he got back up top, he ordered some Black Pikmin, Red Pikmin, and Purple Pikmin to go back in. The Black Pikmin would get an extra bonus in attack power due to being in a cave, and inside a tunnel located in a cave, A.K.A. it's dark down there. Sir Armos noticed some random Pikmin still at the base acting funny, and whistled to them. He wasn't sure what it was, but soon these strange acting Pikmin began hitting his own troops. Then he got worried.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Whoo hoo! I actually lost the first 3 or 4 paragraphs due to my Dad's computer shutting down, and the text wasn't saved. I rewrote it in a slightly different way, which I personally feel is a bit worse, but it doesn't really matter.
