Rydon isn't finished yet.
Quick question Rydon, what do you mean when Muta only told the troops the plans they "needed to know"? Is my leader going to improvise something unexpected?
But, I like this update. I alway couldn't figure out how my army leader would lean. Are the completely purehearted or somewhat leading an army for their own advantages?

Well, escaping with 60 Brown Pikmin when only 50 were left seems like a mistake to me, but that's about it.

No, that wasn't a mistake. I meant he had 50 still fighting on his side, and his final whistle got a few more Pikmins' attention, namely 10.
EDIT: And to answer your question Hachi, that was a bit of icky wording on my part. It was kinda like he(?) told the diggers to dig, the white pikmin to watch out for ambushes, etc.

Don't push him. Some multi-update battles on SMKW can take two weeks to finish.
Not saying that you are pushing him, just saying not to go that far.

Back Under the ground, the Planet Protecters' Antenna Beetles were controlling Pikmin through the dirt. The rough tiles and mass of ground above them made their power weaker, but still effective. The diggers were still tunneling further into the base, and Yellow and White Pikmin were being lined along the tunnel. The Yellow Pikmin were prepared with bomb rocks, incase they need to blow down the hallway of dirt and dust. White Pikmin were watching as the second tunnel next to them made progress, and a few were sent up to see where it would come up.
Once they got to the surface, the Whites warned Muta the Elder and General Hishiro. They gathered their guard units and made a circle around the predicted place where the units would pop up. Now it was just a waiting game.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On the front lines, the Gatling Gun was mowing down Yellow Pikmin. They were sent with Bomb Rocks to attack the enemy's right and left flanks with bomb rocks. The Gun targeted the rocks to deal extra damage, but some Pikmin got through and killed the front-line fighters. The Custodian Catapults were rolling up, and came in sight of the Gatling Gun. They sent of volleys of bomb rocks. The Gatling Gun was taking heavy damage, when the Recon Boat retargeted. It wasn't very good against machines, but the catapults were made of wood. It used its gun to attack furiously.
Meanwhile, the Red, Purple, and Black Pikmin of Sir Armos' were having trouble fighting. They were good at defeating the Mamutas, but they guarded the Atenna Beetles. The beetles would control the Pikmin, and then have the Mamuta's Plant them. Sir Armos was plucking them out away from combat areas, but couldn't pick up very many. The Green Pikmin were flying over the combat, some clipped by flying Yellow Kamikaze Pikmin, and strapped themselves to the Bulborbs' backs. They kicked them in the head, and once they died, they'd help their friends. As the problem became larger, Dweevils and other Bulborbs came over to help. The Pikmin became more sloppy with their work, injuring about half their targets. They were getting tired, and worried.
Once the threat was finally extriminated, the Bulborbs came out with a big loss. They continued to eat plucked pikmin, some of the injured ones dieing from the White Pikmin's Poison. The Dweevils rushed at the enemy Pikmin, arranging themselves to fight ones that weren't immune to their attack.
Finally, despite the Orange Pikmins' best efforts, the Gattling Gun went down. One of the catapults was destroyed, and the other slighly damaged. The second one began to attack the Recon Boat, which was also being repaired by Orange Pikmin. The Master Mamuta was whistling at enemy pikmin the whole time, in an attempt to let the Yellows and Antenna Beetles get closer. Now that the Gatling Gun was down, it begain to whistle to the Orange Pikmin near the boat. The stunned Pikmin were unable to repair the boat, making it easier to take down.
The Golden Progg was also busy during the battle. It plucking planted Pikmin to fight on their side, further bolstering their forces. Things were looking bad for Sir Armos, who was quickly running out of troops.
Now it was just a waiting game. I think this is what Water Dumple been trying to get all the time. Troops that are smart. I did plan for White Pikmin to watch for an underground attack, which they did. But, they also took the initiative to come up with a basic counter to what they discovered. And good writing. I alway love it when I see my plans actually used.
Yaaay! When will the next one be? No need to push him, Meowzer. I must say Rydon, your writing is very interesting. Well done, to say the least.
nicely done, and I beleive the score is: Hachi 1 Snagret 0 I highly doubt that. If there's one thing I see in so many battles, it's that the defender will seem to lose until a massive amount of reinforcements arrives and crush the attackers.
That reminds me, Chaosblade needs to send in plans, and forces. To be fair, I won't start the next update until I know.
And thanks for comments. But what I really need is criticism, so I can improve my writing. Of course, it's still nice to know my writing doesn't suck outright.
