So, WD, what are the rules regarding them? Like, how they fit, science-wise and such.

Basically, they're just big, watery masses with two stone rollers that are kind of tough to destroy. Bumping into the watery part will bounce you off, like in the actual game, probably in front of the rollers. The rollers are immediately attackable, best done at long range, but the Waterwraith itself is near-indestructable until you make it solid. If you hit it really hard with a kinetic force, like, say...some cannonballs or some bombs, it will turn purple and be vulnerable. You don't have to destroy the rollers to kill it, although it helps. They are always visible, although sometimes hard to see without the rollers, and can't shift dimensions or anything like that.

Do they need the rollers, and can they be made of other elements than water?

Well, I have a DeathWraith. It has a scythe, and everything!
Anyway, I think something like a FireWraith would be okay.

Do they need the rollers, and can they be made of other elements than water? They don't need them, but the vast majority of their abilities comes from the rollers. Also, since most objects traveling at normal speed with normal mass will just bounce off, I can't see any point in wanting it to be made of something else.

Fire, Wind, Earth, Light, Darkness, things like that. I could probably figure out ways to make them. But I think I'm going to far towards the esoteric in making this group.
