Uhh... This is sort of a random event suggestion, I suppose... But don't run away yet! It's not an idea for a specific random event, just something for random events in general.
I think it would make the game a bit more interesting if there were more small random events that occured more often but didn't require intensive moderation, i.e battle writing. For example, a freak snowstorm could hit, say, the Awakening Wood. For the next 20 days or so in game, it would be more difficult for troops to move around in the area. It would alos do things like cause the water in the area to freeze and stuff like that. Things like this don't cause much hassle for mods, but they still add some spice to the games. Of course, I'm not suggesting we remove the big random events altogether.

Well, that's certainly not a bad idea...I'll look into it. Also, we're having a "Treasure hunt" event on weekends for Wildlife armies that should be mostly consistent. That, and the Special Store.

I think it could work. It'll still have to be kinda rare, since I expect once a favorable RE comes, someone going to take advantage and attack anyway. The RE also got to actually have an effect, but not too much.

This may only affect a few of us here, but some of us haven't played any games in the Pikmin series; making the treasure hunt, difficult. Could we some how create teams for our treasure hunts, so the ones who haven't played the Pikmin games don't get left out on the special items?

Sorry, but people that haven't played Pikmin games probably shouldn't even be playing this game at all. It's assumed knowledge; I have no idea how anybody who hasn't played Pikmin or Pikmin 2 has gotten this far.

Good job Eli! You defied WD logic! In what way? Unless there was a deleted post, all he did was say that Pikmin Wars isn't fair for those that haven't played Pikmin, which should be obvious anyway.

I think it's because he doesn't have Pikmin but has gotten this far.

I think it's because he doesn't have Pikmin but has gotten this far. That does not, however, defy/refute my logic. If non-Pikmin players have trouble with treasure hunts, it'll probably just give them more inspiration to stock up on Silver, Gold, and Platinum and win the Special Store events.

I'm sorry I haven't played any Pikmin games.

Well, a new Pikmin is at least being made, and owing to what Nintendo is doing with announcements now, it might come out this Winter.

I'm expecting 3 delays.
On topic: This sounds like a good idea.

not all should be bad though...., certain things could happen, like leaves fall from a tree, working as free boats in that area.
