Kwihll inspired me to make my own fan fiction. I won't be copying his fic or anynthing from it, but I my reference it (because the only reason I'm doing this). For those of you who go to SMKW, you probably know I'm a suckish writer. But I'll do my best anyway. I don't have the first chapter done yet, but I will by tomorrow.
It'll have cold openings to boot!
“Hoooooooooooooome home on the raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaange! Where the miiiiiin and the boaaaaaaarb peelaaaaaaaaaay!”
“Bill?”
“”Whatchyu want?”
“That’s not playing.”
“Says who?”

Three reds, a purple, white, blue and the upper half to a yellow crowded around a dimly lit table, with nary a card nor poko in site. Blue stared at yellow and watched as his eyes rolled back.
“Man? You sure we should be keepin this guy here?”
Yellow let out a slow, painful moan.
“Well he sure thinks its okay. Why are you so nervous?”
“I dunno. Just-“
“Just what?”
“I dunno.”
“YOU ALREADY SAID THAT!”
“Well I know, but you asked-“
“SLAP SOME SENSE INTO BOY!”
“What? Are you-“
*smack*
“Common man! What’r ya-“
*smack*
“Dude!”
*smack*
“Okay I’ll be quite now.”
There was a hush as they drank their nectar. It was the kind of nostalgic hush wishing things could go back to the way before. Back to the time when it was just the best of times and it was never stressful. Pikmin would frolic through medows and sleep on rainbows and such. But now it was a never-ending nighttime of cruelness and terror. No where was safe anymore, and trust was scarce. Our small group eyed each other suspiciously, ready to pounce at the first sudden movement. Moving fast by yourself would get yourself killed these days.
“We sure are lucky we found this shack.”
“Tee-hee! He said sack!”
“Shack.”
“Shut up! You know immature people have more fun.”
“Right. What problem do you have with it anyway? All you ever do is complain.”
“It sags.”
“Shut up.”
“Well, for starters, no walls. No ceiling. You know.”
The whole members jumped, startled as yellow slumped to the ground with a gross fleshy noise. A red stirred, obviously disturbed.
“Ca-“
“No. Just sit still.”
The group sat silent. They were all exploding with anxiety of who was going to get it.
A bead of sweat rolled down one of the red’s heads. They heard a slithering sound and mentally prepared themselves for what was about to come.
Blue shot up and shrieked I pain and the rest of the pikmin recklessly bolted from the table, knocking it over and spilling the candle. Another shriek came from blue as he burst into to flames.
“What about Bob?” asked White.
“Yes. What about him?”
“SUCK IT UP YOU BIG BABY!” shouted Der.
“I’m not you!” cried Blue.
“He’ll attract the others!”
“Oshi- you’re right! Go put him out!”
“I’m on it!”
White hurried to uselessly aid Blue. As the to collapsed on top of each other, White thought
Wait… He’s a red…
White screamed.

The Reds and the Purple ran and they ran as fast as they could. The toadmin came pouring over the hill and quickly engulfed the doomed blue and white. Purple lagged behind the rest, being pudgy and all. He too, was swallowed into the crowd with a hopeless "yelp", and he was gone. The reds were thankful for high school track, for it was doing them well. They were chased in a far-as-the-eye-can-see filed, pursued by an angry horde of snarling toadmin. They saw The Forest of Hope coming up on the horizon and grew more nervous with each and every centimeter they ran.
Der and Poplar slid down the rock wall to the Forest of Hope with a bump-bump-ouch.
They knew they were safe from toadmin for now and immediately started seeking out the nearest shelter. They searched high and low, from the dead ACB to the cliff, nothing.
"Well that's the kind of thing that can really ruin your monday. What now?" asked Der.
Poplar had a concentrated look on his face he pointed to the distance.
"There."
"What?"
"Look!"
"There?"
"No, there!"
"I still do-I see it!"
"I think its a yellow."
A lone pikmin wandered in the distance.
"HEY!"
The pikmin looked up. Der yelled again.
"HEEEEEEEY!"
The pikmin perked its ears and dove the the side. Der and Poplar took off toward where it had disappeared to. They reached the last sighting and recognized it as where the Great Infector had landed. This area gave them the creeps. They knew it was where the apocalypse had began. They searched around for the mysterious stranger, but alas, to no available. There was nothing in sight. Der thought he saw something peculiar in the flowers, so he got down for a closer look. Behind him, Poplar was picking nectar, even though they were both flowers. Der lost his balance and fell forward. And down. And down.
