I've just remembering the crowd we used to have here.
I mean, of the original members from the First Wars, I have no clue how many are left.
As far as I know, there is me, Waterdumple, Hachi, bulborbish, and yoshimaster as the remaining people who still post here from the original wars...
Ah, good time... good times...

I didn't run the GameFAQs one. I did sort of get a guy to say "can you believe what waterdumple did?!?" after this game, though, since it was made at the same time as the GameFAQs one. That was good timesesque.
Frankly, I don't think these nostalgia-style threads help in any way. I'd prefer to look at activity compared to when the forum was completely dead several months ago; it's certainly grown in activity a lot faster since when it was dead and when it started. Way back at the beginning of version 1, it was me, Hachi, and Pikmin Monky. Some more guys dribbled in like Grey Snagret and Rydon7 (Planet9), but it was definitely much slower-going than this. It's not as if "the good times are over" or anything like that; the forum's just in a different phase, but folks don't realize things like that since it's always "those were good times" rather than "these are good times".
From an administrative point of view, add too many more members and it's just too hard to manage. There were always a decent number of people who would join for brief amounts of time, then leave, anyhow.
