This weekend, most likely. The comp can barely run a game for fifteen minutes without pulling a Bob Crosby impression or maybe reciting a Barack Obama speech, which is getting old. I planned a reformat in three weeks, shortly before Christmas, but it's being such a pain that it makes more sense just go ahead as soon as possible. There are enough issues that I'm going all the way back to BIOS, which means a decent length of time reinstalling everything and the likes. So I might not be online for a day or two.
When that's over though, I'll once again be able to run Battlefield 2, Battlefield 2142, Call of Duty 4, Modern Warfare 2, Team Fortress 2, and Company of Heroes if anyone wants to shoot something or micspam on a random server.

Damn that sucks. You could just get a cheap 500+ GB hard drive at frys and just transfer all your data. That would probabaly be easier (although it would cost around 50+ dollars).

Well...the issue looks like it's actually because of the keyboard. With this operating system, I'll need an old PS2 keyboard rather than the USB one I'm using to do things like erase the partition and basically just get anything done. Weird problem, but I know we have several PS2s in storage. Should work with one of those, so I'll try again next week.
...Unless there's no PS2 slot in my motherboard. Only God knows how to do it then.

Seems to be working out decently well. Still a bunch of kinks to sort out, but it's overall been successful.
First I'll try installing Battlefield 2142, and if that works (and if I can fix my router's problems) Team Fortress 2 is next.
