So I've been seeing a lot more advertisements for this game all over the internet lately. Sure, I watched some thing at E3 about it where it ended up being the most praised game etc. The more and more I see of videos on it, the more and more I feel i need to own this game. Does anyone have it/played it enough to make a final verdict? I usually don't buy a game unless it is a "better-than-sex" sort of title. At this point I'm thinking of going to the store some day soon here and getting the damn thing in all its glory but I'm reluctant as it seems to good to be true. Does anyone have any input? In case you don't know what this is, here is a trailer showing of this ambitious concept: Trailer

I haven't owned it for long, so I can't give you the 100-hour verdict or anything, but...well, it's an amazing idea that they somehow pulled off, but the execution is not stellar. The controls often mess up since you've got to do it all with the touch screen, and some items don't interact very well, though you should expect that since there are so many possible words. That's about all I can say as I haven't spent a great deal of time with it (yet).

Okay, sounds about what I've read. Controls suck, everything else is good. If you get around to playing it a bit more, let me know what you think.

Get Bowser's Inside Story. Much more enjoyable, imo.

Is it better than the first two? Those were amazing games...

Bowser's Inside Story is even better then the other two. The bosses aren't as challenging as Partners in Time, but the story/exploration/ combat is much better.

In fact, there's actually more to do in general than in the first two games. There are plenty of minigames and extra challenges to keep you playing, and if you do them right when they're available, the rewards are actually quite good. As steve said, get BIS if you don't have it, but Scribblenauts is alright too.

Meh, from what I've heard, the game boils down to guessing synonyms and calling down Cthulhu to kill everything on screen.

Meh, from what I've heard, the game boils down to guessing synonyms and calling down Cthulhu to kill everything on screen. I dunno. I've enjoyed it. Although it has taught me that there are few problems that can't be solved with a Pterodactyl, a fishing rod, a tv, and an iceberg. Other than the ones that directly ask you for something, like a cake, or something.
