Probably a couple more.
Sorry again for the delay, my parents decided that they wanted to spring a surprise on me yesterday that ate most of my time, and I'm full today. Tomorrow probably.

So... Can this get done today? I don't want to seem malcontent but I really hate large-day updates...

Sorry about the delay; AP classes suck. Here's the next update. Both sides, feel free to adjust your plans.
The Battle of Bread and Honey
Part 2: Counterattack
General Atlas quickly lunged to the side in order to avoid a pasting from falling nectar, quickly barking orders to his fellow breadbugs. He commanded his orange breadbugs into the sky, where they quickly sought out any honeywisps they could find. However, there were only ten orange breadbugs to deal with the 30 honeywisps, so it was difficult work, especially since honeywisps are so difficult to catch.
Meanwhile, on the ground, nectared breadbugs tried to lick off all the nectar, finding that it was indeed quite delicious on bread. They got up and started moving away from the honeywisps as fast as they could, trying to find shelter and wait for the ground forces to arrive.
In the water, water lillies carrying Nature’s Wrath’s ground troops started moving in toward the land. If everything went according to plan, they’d be able to land and take the enemy’s valuable petals, something they were very short on.
Suddenly, out of the water lurched 3 large breadbugs, pulling on the water lilly and eventually ripping it to shreds, sending its six skitterleafs to the bottom. Other water lillies in the distance saw their comrade ripped to shreds, and quickened their pace, knowing now that the waters they swam in were far from safe.
After 5 honeywisps had bitten the dust, the orange breadbugs felt that they were in a position of air superiority. With the nerf gun ready and no anti-air for the enemy in sight, everything looked safe. Atlas was pleased to see his readjusted plans working to get him out of his jam, or, nectar, as the case may be.
ZOOM! An orange breadbug disappeared from the sky as a Skitterling dove right though, bringing the breadbug to an end. 5 more skitterlings flew into play, taking down the orange breadbugs with ease.
“FIRE THE NERF GUN!” came the shout from General Atlas. On cue, the nerf gun aimed and began firing at the skitterlings. The first two shots missed; the third hit its mark. Some white breadbugs left their hiding places to go retrieve the bullets as the nerf gun continued firing.
In the water, the water lillies were nearing the shore, but things were beginning to look hopeless. Two more of the water lillies had been sunk, one of which had been carrying a Creeping Crysanthemum. Things looked hopeless for Nature’s Wrath as their ground forces were picked off before they could even reach the land. They would have to adjust their strategy if they were to win the day.
Meanwhile, General Atlas beamed with confidence as he saw himself once again reach a favorable position. As long as nothing too bad happened, he’d bring Nature’s Wrath to make like a tree and leaf.

This doesn't look too good for Nature's Wrath, but it's nice to see some water fighting. I don't think we had that happen before.

I'm really hoping the extra petals we're handing out for naval bases will result in more of this. It definitely adds another medium to the combat. Good battle so far, combatants and mod.

The Battle of Bread and Honey
Part 3: RUN AWAY!
With the battlefield in chaos, it was difficult for General Atlas to discern what Nature’s Wrath would do next. Would they retreat? Fight to the last man? Or, worst of all, would they bring something totally unexpected against which he could do nothing? The Breadbug general hadn’t a clue. Scanning the area around him, he saw nothing but bread, leaves and honey. Oh, so much honey.
In the water, the Marine Breadbugs were having their way with the water lillies. Noticing that a direct approach would certainly end in defeat, the water lillies turned around and dashed back to the barge, desperate to make sure their cargo was safe. The marine breadbugs hurried in pursuit, ready to fulfill the next stage in their mission. One of the breadbugs was about ready to latch onto a water lilly when plop! a large drop of honey fell onto its head. Unable to swim nearly as effectively when covered in honey, the breadbug was unable to catch up with its water lilly foes.
The honeywisps had begun their withdrawal, dropping honey on any marine breadbugs that dared reach up above the water to grab a water lilly. Despite the difficulty of the battle, it appeared that they would make it out alive.
Skitterlings, having finished off the last of the orange breadbugs, followed their honey-bearing friends back to the barge. Eventually, what remained of Nature’s Warth’s invasion force had returned safely.
General Atlas watched this from before and sighed. Yes, he had won a great victory, but he had failed to totally annihilate the attacking force. Yes, he had won the day, but he had won little else, and at the loss of too many breadbugs. Not to mention, his base was a mess.
Meanwhile, Nature’s Wrath fled the scene on their borrowed barge, seeing for themselves a shameful defeat. Their plan to stealthily steal petals had been foiled by General Atlas and his tactical brilliance. They’d lost so many lives. Still, they had fought hard and well, and many of them were proud. Mother Nature had begun to fight back. Soon, she would reign supreme. There was not a single creatue—not a honeywisp, not a skitterling , and certainly not a creeping crysanthemum—that doubted that fact.
Casualites:
Nature’s Wrath:
5 Honeywisp (Produces Nectar for troops) 15 Skitter Leaf (Looks just like a leaf, excellent spies) 1 Creeping Chrysanthemum (Large carnivorous plants with excellent camouflage) 3 Water Lily (Aquatic plants capable of transporting troops across bodies of water) 1 Skitterlings (Evolved forms of Skitter Leaves with wings)
Breadbug Battalion: 10 Orange Breadbugs 30 Puple Breadbugs (Honeyed, out of service for 12 in-game days) 10 Red Breadbugs (Honeyed, out of service for 12 in-game days) 10 Blue Breadbugs (Honeyed, out of servicefor 12 in-game days) 10 Yellow Breadbugs (Honeyed, out of commission for 12 in-game days) 5 White Breadbugs (Honeyed, out of commission for 12 in-game days) 5 Marine Breadbugs (Honeyed, out of commission for 12 in-game days) Honeyed Base (10 Day project to repair; will impair troop speed and morale until taken care of)
Rewards:
Nature’s Wrath:
2 Requisition (only ten deaths, but the 115 honeyings seemed enough to raise it to a second requisition; let me know if this is unfair)
Breadbug Battalion:
2 Requisition (70 deaths rounded up)
Probably more from achievements; I checked the list and saw some, but I’m not sure if I can award them. Good battle on both sides; B&B’s naval blockade worked wonders against infinity’s ground forces, otherwise the casualties would’ve come off a little more even.

Well done. PM me any achievements you think might be awarded, but are unsure of.
Don't forget, you only need to off 5 special troops to get Requisition. I think they'll be getting more with that in place.

Thanks much makajawan for getting that done with. I must give props to infinity for superb (and unexpected) use of honey.

The honey was good. If you hadn't set up 20 specials to block his 6 specials transporting his forces, things would've been different.

That was a good ending. Even if Nature's Wrath didn't do well, they still have their pride.
This reminds me of my Planet Protectors and their holy crusades against the Hocotatian infidels. I hope better luck for Infinity next time.
