Maybe we should start pitching in ideas for new rules. I'm not sure how we'll sticky them or erase any old topics though... I don't think any of the staff members except Waterdumple come here often.

Yah I think thats a good idea. We can just do it ourselves like waterdumple said.
And also can someone read over my army app. and ok it and make a minithread for it or whatever so I can play?

I think we need to redo the staff; the current staff doesn't show up.
Honestly, I don't see any changes that need to be added to the rules. The only thing I would recommend is saying that should no staff be available, normal members can volunteer to write battles.

I second that motion...as far as I can tell, there really are no problems in the realm of gameplay.

What about materials? I suggested Crystal, but I don't know if anyone noticed that topic.
EDIT: An Easter RE that came to mind, although it's more of a treasure hunt. Just something to help give a boost to a few armies.
============================================== Basic story: Bubs, the forum pet, has scattered Easter Eggs throughout the world.
There's 1 easter egg in each area, meaning there's 9 in total. 4 of these easter eggs hold 100 units of Easter Metal, which has a strength of 5 and is completely resistant to all elements. 1 has an Eggy Progg in it, a 100 day elite. The other 4 only hold Easter Bomb-Rocks documents, an ammunition type.
Easter Metal: This light-weight colorful metal always seems to be a different color when you look at it. It's completely immune to all elements, making good armor. Choose what you want to do with it. It can be made into aircraft.
Easter Bomb-Rocks: Look at the colors! What does it explode into? Fire, water, electricity, poison, it can be any of these! This could be a disadvantage though, so don't depend on it. (40 days)
Eggy Progg: This acts like a normal progg, but what makes it special is the color. It can change red and trail fire, turn yellow and leave electric sludge, and so on. Put it up against any type of unit and it'll do well.
Anything wrong with the ideas? Overpowered?

a suggestion for a new rule would be to make spying have more purpose, like spying makes your troops perform a % better in battle preportionate to how much you spied, or without spying your troops/plans are clueless to the enemies troops and building, besides the basics (e.g. your plans could say "assault the resource storage" without spying but could not say "bomb the warship factory", plans without spying have to be vague, like "destroy the largest defensive structure" or "only go for his specials")

Besides, why waste time on a spying project?

Are we starting a new game?
And also I would imagine a forum wipe of all the old stuff would be good.
Then we could revamp rules if anyone believes they need changes and of course redo the staff.

Espionaging so far was mainly used to get a general layout of the base and a rough estimate of troop numbers/defenses, what they do, basically gaining some knowledge that could be used without being considered OoG knowledge, but doesn't detail everything.
Anyone think we should try mass-emailing members?

i think it is fine, the worst they can do is delete the emails. May get a few people back also.

The problem with mass emailing is that there are tons of accounts that never did anything or lasted. You may want to delete some of those as well as leave a heavy disclaimer that it's their decision for making an account and then opting in to mass emails, so no complaints.

Oh, there's also some features on my forum that might be useful here if anyone thinks they should be used.
Spoiler: Hides words. Whisper: Only shows words to a certain member. Expiration Date: Removes message when it reachs a set date, leaving "This message has been deleted" in it's place. Blink: Makes words flash.

Spoiler is definitely something that should be implemented. Whisper seems more like a different way of PMing, though, and expiration date really just sounds kind of annoying to me. Blink could be used for getting people's attention, I guess, but that's what we have bold for. If you can do all four without trouble, though, that'd be great!
