I can't say that I can get anyone who's left back for sure, but I can at least get some events going or something, and that might bring a little life back that could trickle into something more... The only problem is I have no idea how the last dead spot was solved, so I'd be starting on a blank slate. But I guess I could give it a shot!

Well, I'm just going to jump in and throw in my own two cents right now.
When I found this site, I had Googled "pikmin forums" and found this site at the top of a list on Pikipedia.
When I left, it was because school had started fall in around me and I didn't have time to play. I also had begun to lose interest because the site was becoming inactive and the game was hardly worth playing.
When I returned (i.e. now), it was because school had lightened up just enough so I could come back.
So the moral of the story is this- in order to get people to come, they have to know its there. How do we get the word out that Pikmin Wars exists? Forums have mood swings, too- when school starts taking over, games start pulling out, and there's really nothing to do about that but keep the fire burning until a time like summer when people can play.
All of you guys probably already knew this, but I find that its easier to lay things out and take a step back when you've come across a roadblock. Hope this helps.

I agree; I think we should wait until everyone is around, evaluate how much time everyone's got, assign moderators based on who can do it, and start off fresh. There's no way I'm going to continue my army after such a long dead period.
