Important Resources:
Ballistics Research: (20 days) This research goes towards custom types of ballistics. It explains how other substances can be fit into the explosives, and how much is allowed without blocking impact, preventing the bomb from exploding.
13.2 mm Rifle Cartridges: Malik actually purchased these from another faction. They are heavy machine gun bullets that excel against light vehicles and infantry. The rate of fire is slower than smaller rounds, which leaves to be desired against large swarms of infantry; however, they do much more damage to what they do hit.
Tar Ammunition: (28 days) By adding the proper parts to a machine, you can actually fire rounds filled with tar! These bullets splatter tar after impact, whether they got through or not, and are relatively good at piercing armor. Can produce deadly results in the electronics of a machine or an open wound. However, the disadvantage is that it must have a fuel tank for the tar, limiting its use to heavy machinery.
Weaponry:
Sakhr Satchels: (6 days to make 30) Sacks containing 2/3s a unit of tar with an explosive core. Mainly utilized by the Snitchbugs, they explode upon impact, leaving the surroundings coated in a thin layer of tar. Though thin, this tar can be very deadly; troops will be slowed and scalded by the hot, sticky substance if they don't suffocate from it; and War Machines can be clogged or weighted down. It's also very flammable, but the explosive does not ignite it.
Titanium Claws: (20 days to make 60) Claws made from 1/3 a unit of titanium. They're light enough to carry around effortlessly, and can cut through anything but titanium without a dent! Mainly used by Assassin Snitchbugs and Brown Pikmin, to slaughter armored troops and dig through sheet rock respectively.
War Machines:
Baqir Drill Tank (30 days, 100 Iron, 20 Crawmadine)
Ammunition: 13.2 mm
Data: Drill tanks that excel at stealth and against infantry. While the armor isn't the strongest, the drill itself is impressive; strength 5 and resistant to fire and corrosion, it easily penetrates anything of equal or lower strength, but will wear against stronger materials. Tunneling allows the following to bypass low-level radar, with vents at the sides to let troops through faster. Machine guns on the sides dispose of anything the drill can't reach. A small row of "claws" on the bottom makes digging straight down and vertical climbs easier.
