Could ya tell us who wins first? Do you mean say something like: "Planet9 has won 1st place! Battle and his plans below."

1st Place: Water Dumple - Choice of 1 piece of HFM, or a petal gathering center 2nd Place: Norbertk - Choice of 1 piece titanium, or 1 piece of gold 3rd Place: Tinfoilman - Choice of 2 stainless steel or 2 refined crawmadine (Changed from choice of 2 aluminum or 2 iron)
For yoshimaster and Hachi, I also have consolation prizes of one iron each! Hurrah!
Battle:
Several Pikmin and a few Antenna Beetles were crowded around a small table with radio on it. They were waiting for order, from their superiors. Some static came on, and a voice cackled, "Your orders are to protect that bottle cap at all costs. We have reports of enemy Green and Blue Pikmin encroaching your position. Be advised, they are heavily upgraded. Your orders are to *Kkkkkshhhhhhnnnnnnnndnnnnnnshhhhhh*"
All the Pikmin turned to their Antenna Beetle masters. The Beetles huddled together, and whispered in their own langauge. Finally, they decided what to do.
Immediately, ten of the Green Pikmin were ordered to scout out where the enemy Pikmin were coming from. The Pikmin approached some of the shoals, and saw that in the distance the Pikmin were approaching from the West, North, and East.
While the Green Pikmin were away, the rest of the Pikmin were working furiously at a trench near the edges of their island. In the center of the island, the Pikmin also buried the bottlecap and covered the hole with nearby grass and rocks.
The Green Pikmin came back, all of the Pikmin reported for battle. The Purple Pikmin jumped on the outside of their trench, Antenna Beetles right behind. The enemy Green and Blue Pikmin came, and the Antenna Beetles quickly jumped up. They whistled at the first wave of Blue Pikmin, ordered them into the trenches, and then the Purple Pikmin jumped in, squishing them. The Antenna Beetles retreated, repeating the process as more came.
The Greens picked up one Purple Pikmin each, and used them as bats. As the enemy Green Pikmin approached, they batted them into the water. Although they got back up, they were quickly batted down again.
Soon, the Blue Pikmin began to overwhelm parts of the trenches. Nearby Blue Pikmin took this opportunity to pour through, and they managed to kill an Antenna Beetle. The other Antenna Beetles quickly controlled this outburst, however, and soon the Blue Pikmin were killing each other as the line of Purple Pikmin thinned to fill the hole.
The Green Pikmin were beginning to get tired from swinging around the Purple Pikmin, and the enemy Green Pikmin were power overwhelming them, using their numbers to kill them and have their Purple Pikmin fall and drown.
The Green Pikmin retreated onto the Island, and the Antenna Beetles whistled them into the pits were they were murdered by Purple Pikmin. Eventually, most of the enemy Green Pikmin were dead, and the friendly Green Pikmin helped contain the masses of Blue Pikmin. Finally, the day was one.
As they dug up the bottlecap, they realized it was broken anyway. Realizing their mission was useless, they took a nearby Ultra Copter (200 day quad machine gun anti-personal round firing Chopper,) back to the base.
Water Dumple's Plans:
1) To begin with, ten Green Pikmin will be sent out in all directions to see where the enemies are coming from.
2) During this time (And the 15 minutes we get before they attack), the Antenna Beetles, Purple Pikmin, and other Green Pikmin will be furiously digging a somewhat deep ditch (About three Pikmin lengths tall) in the middle of the island. 50 Purples will also be digging a wide hole farther to the side, which we will place the bottlecap inside, and then cover it up. We'll put grass/rocks/sand over where the digging spot is, so they won't suspect it.
3) Once the 10 Green Pikmin scouts find what direction the foes are coming from and the "Match" begins, they'll immediately report back to the island and we'll prepare for battle. But, if the ditch/hole are not quite ready yet, 100 Purple Pikmin will remain to finish them, and then move up to the front.
4) To kill the Blue Pikmin, the Antenna Beetles will run up and whistle them at maximum range. Then, they'll run over the ditch and make the Blue Pikmin fall in. The Purple Pikmin will then leap down into the ditch and squash them. If they can't kill all of the Blue Pikmin, the Antenna Beetles will continue to mind-control them in the ditch, and the Purple Pikmin will beat them down with their fists.
5) If both types of enemies attack at once, we'll split forces. To kill the enemy Green Pikmin, our Greens will use their strength upgrades to lift up some Purple Pikmin in the air. (If the upgrade is good enough, then they'll hold one Purple in each hand.) Then, they'll swing the Purples like baseball bats and smack the enemy Greens into the water to drown or into the ground to die. Hopefully that'll kill them but if it doesn't, the Greens will swoop down and drop the Purples on them.
6) If these maneuvers prove insufficient, the Antenna Beetles will whistle the enemy Greens down to the ground,. And then either command them into the ditch to be Purple'd, or just stomp on them.
7) If the location of the bottlecap is found and the enemy begins to dig it up, 5 Antenna Beetles will rush over to whistle them into the ditch.

Damn, 2nd and 3rd made out quite well. I think their prizes should be reduced. I figure we've skipped maybe 4, those prizes make up for it. Since they're distributed to different people, it actually helps put more metal in the economy, not just make one person rich and everything if I gave it all to the winner.

Right, we did miss like 4. Well, your argument is valid, and I doubt the contestants will be complaining.

Norb:
For the 15 minutes before the battle starts each antena beetle will pair up with 10 green pikmin. The instant the battle starts the green pikmin will pick up the antena beetles and fly them over the water to try and find enemy pikmin. The instant enemy pikmin are found the antena bettle will mind control them. Green pikmin will be forced to drown themselves and blue pikmin will be told to walk to the bottlecap EXTREMLY slowly. After all blues are slowly walking to the bottlecap the green pikmin will fly the beetles to the shoals. The beetles will then tell the purple pikmin to come near the shoals. When the blue pikmin finally get there the beetles will tell them to go into the group of purple pikmin one by one. The purples will slaughter the blue pikmin the instant they see them. If all else fails the green pikmin will pick up the blue pikmin fly high and then slam them into the ground.
Tin: 100 of the Green Pikmin will go move onto the shoals.
When the invaders come, all my Green Pikmin will fly into the air as the Blue Pikmin swim into the island. Since the Blues will be swimming, they won't be able to defend themselves. So, the Green Pikmin will focus on them.
The Purple Pikmin and Antenna Beetles will be forming a perimeter around the bottle cap, with the Antenna Beetles behind the Purples. If any blues make it on the island, they will be no match for my superior Purple Pikmin. If any opposing greens approach the bottle cap, some of my greens will help defend in the air. As soon as a small number of enemy pikmin come near the bottle cap (I assume it will take a large group of them to pick it up), the Antenna Beetles will take them under their control and direct them either into the water or, if they are predominantly Blue Pikmin, into a large group of my troops, to be killed.
Hachi:
All the troops will surround the bottlecap, fortified with a shallow trench around them.
The plan is to have the Antenna Beetles whistle and pacify the enemy Pikmin that comes within range and then have the Purple Pikmin pummel them, especially focusing on whistling the flying enemy Green Pikmin to land. Hopefully, the trench will slow down the Blue Pikmin and give the Purple Pikmin the upper ground advantage. Then eliminate the Green Pikmin as soon as possible so that surviving allied Green Pikmin can use their air superiority in battle.
Yoshimaster:
The Antenna Beetles will take up defensive positions on the shoals surrounded by the greens while the purples stay back and defend the bottle cap. The beetles will convert blues to fight the other blues. Once either 75 greens or 5 Beetles die, The forces will fall back and as soon as the blues reach shore, the purples will jump, trying to damage and stun them. The beetles will start changing greens to our side and using them to fight in the air and divebomb blues.
The first 2 are in order from where they place, the last 2 are in no particular order.

I think that from now on only the first two people should get prizes. Or maybe one. Three is way too many.
