Any other fellow vault dwellers here? Want to brag about your awesome new gun, or just talk about Fallout 3? Then, it shall be done here. As you can see, I've invested some of my time in FO3, and think it's one of Bethesda's best. Good job, Todd Howard.

Fallout 3 is great. I just got some Railway Rifle schematics, and since the whole gun is a pun, I'm about to fast-travel back to my house in Megaton and build it. I'm focusing on Small Guns and Energy Weapons for attack skills, and Sneak/Science/Lockpick/Repair for other stuff.
If you have a good enough Sneak and Small Guns skill, you can one-shot kill a bunch of stuff with a Sniper Rifle or Scoped .44 Magnum. Also, if you go to the Civil War Museum, you can get Lincoln's Repeater, which is really good.
My karma level is Very Good. Only time I ever do nasty stuff is to steal a stat-raising book, but then I give Purified Water to the beggars to get more karma. (My name is Communist Jim, so it makes sense to redistribute wealth and all that.)

Ah, a fellow do-gooder. (Sorry for bragging, but...)
My character is level 20 (currently the max), and has maxed out his Medicine, Repair, and Small guns skills. He often sports his prototype medic power armor, (Unique armor that talks to you and distributes Med-x without the perils of addiction) and normally uses the 'terrible shotgun'. (Does over 80 damage at perfect condition) I've done almost all of the quests do-able, have many unique weapons and armor, and owns his own apartment in Megaton. He has a dog, (named Dogmeat) a super mutant follower named Fawkes, and enjoys long walks on the beach. and collects various odds and ends he picks off of dead things.

I try to be good karma but it's so hard... Putting an explosive in someone's pocket sets it live, so it basically counts as attacking one of the members of Megaton. I'm level 11 or 12 right now. I mainly use a Chinese Assault Rifle, Combat Shotgun, Sniper Rifle, Hunting Rifle, the Shishkebab, and every kind of landmine and grenade (When needed). I only attack what attacks me, though there's still plenty of that, especially since when you're a Very Good character the Talon Mercenaries try to kill you every few days.

As for me, I'm a protector of the innocent! Although, that doesn't mean I can't kill any evil thing that comes within twenty feet of me. When often encountering feral ghouls, I put on my ghoul mask, (thus disguising me as one of them) and I am free to either kill or walk right past them. My favorite melee weapon is the shishkebab, although I have taken a liking to the tenderizer. (A unique sledgehammer) Since I have completed the entire main quest, (I won't spoil the ending for you,) I roam around the wastes looking for new areas and civilization. Reaching level 20, I chose the Grim Reaper's sprint perk, which instantly restores my action points if I kill someone in VATS.

Vault-Tec. Assisted. Targeting. System.
If you've played Fallout 3 you would know what we're talking about. It's the targeting system you can use in Fallout. You can just manually aim, but in VATS you can specifically taget any limb i.e. an arm or the head of an enemy. But you use action points when you shoot in VATS which slowly regain as you play. The grim reaper perk is handy because it basically means he doesnt have to ever stop shooting in VATS.

Good description, B&B! And while using V.A.T.S, it temporarily stops time!

Good description, B&B! And while using V.A.T.S, it temporarily stops time! Actually, it just slows it down, but it's a nice way to get some high-accuracy shots off since the enemies can't attack as much during it. Unless you're referring to the part where you select what body part to attack, in which case time does stop.
