I would like opinions on this. It seems to be the most frequent complaint.

I'd say so- that and the fact I've never played a Pikmin game are the only two reasons I don't play.

I'd say yes. It's the main reason I quit. All these rules and stuff are taking the fun out of it for me.

A little bit of yes and a little bit of no. When I made my logs, I was good on everything but the new troop gain.

Although I do like the complexity (it's what truly sets it apart from other "Wars" games, in my mind), I will admit it is becoming a chore to update logs. With my third base in construction, it will take even longer to do them. However, I think keeping logs on SMKW, here, and Paper Mario Wars (GG's game) on a alternating three-day structure makes it much easier. That, and the fact that I don't have any more exams!
But yeah, it isn't really a problem with me, although I could see why people complain about it.

I like it. I can actualy take a look at the rules and think that this was based around something real. But, I knid of agree with Bubs, I don't like the low troop gain.

No, not really. It takes more time to update logs, I suppose. But it also adds depth to the game. Perhaps the rules could be streamlined some more, though.
The main reason I tend to stop updating is because I always rush myself to start an army at the beginning of a new version, and I end up picking a theme that I exhaust for ideas pretty quickly and is pretty boring/generic to start with anyway. Hence why I've stopped updating.

Nah. It might be complicated, but it stops the game from having a thousand loopholes in it. The old game had loopholes, and this is what happens when they were destroyed.
P.S. You need a poll.

HOW DARE YOU PEOPLE SPEAK AGAINST MY ALMIGHTY CREATION. TOO COMPLICATED. WHAT NONSENSE.
Personally, the only way I think it's too complicated is in how long it takes to update logs, and I'm starting to think that the three-base deal was a bad idea towards that. However, as to understanding the game...well, I don't think it's too complicated, but plenty of new members certainly do/have.

This game is certainly not complicated. It takes time, yes, but is quite easy to understand. It would be cool if it was automated though, but that will never happen.

That's mighty hard to achieve, and would take a year. Then we would have to spend money on running the computers. After that, we could start getting a development crew and charging membership fees. Then we're rich! Sorry, just got carried off.

There are plenty of rules I'd like to add, but they'd make the game so complicated and hard to figure out that it would need to be automated.

Personally, the only time I consult the rules is to find out if anyone is cheating against me in battles and to find which rules seem to be bad. I don't know about you guys though, but you could just post whatever you forget in your logs thread for reference.
