Just to answer the question, GS is no longer with us. In other words, he's gone off to somewhere. I think. He's probably with his girlfriend discussing the date that will never happen ;D

Looks good. I'd recomend not getting a widescreen, but that's just me. They're cheaper, and they don't warp the proportions on some games. Oh, and you might want to splurge a bit more on a surge protector. One with a good battery backup is preferable, as you'll actually be able to run your computer for a few minutes if you want to save anything you were working on, or power down, as apposed to flipping the switch, which is better for the computer.

That's true, I don't honestly want a big fancy monitor but that was one of the cheaper ones on the site.

Nice to see you didn't go for a cheap power supply. Things can get kinda messy if you try and skimp on that.

Nice to see you didn't go for a cheap power supply. Things can get kinda messy if you try and skimp on that. Yeah, I want to have some extra power available in case I update my video card. The NVidia 8600 only uses 400W-450W, but it should be enough to run Battlefield 2 at full settings. (Translation: I hope it will.) It's true, I do wish this monitor had 2560 x 1600 resolution, but if it did I'd be paying a bunch more.

You've got the PC version of the graphics card I have in my laptop, and my version can run RA3 on high settings. It should work fine.
