Does anybody here have this game for WiiWare or the PC? It is fantastic. Of course, I suppose that is to be expected with its massive development team of two people. Two whole people! The music is very pleasant, the art style is great, the gameplay is challenging and unique, and the overall experience comes off as...well, not at all the sort of thing you would expect from two guys. An interesting thing about World of Goo is that it's not very striking at first; it just grows and grows and you don't really realize it until after you've beaten it. I can't really come up with any major flaws with it; only little things that I wish were different and the like. I suggest you look into it if you're not familiar with it. www.gamespot.com/pc/puzzle/worldofgoo/review.html?om_act=convert&om_clk=gssummary&tag=summary;read-reviewDid I mention that two people made this?

No, but I've played something else made by them. Still goo, but it was a demo or something. It looks cool.

That was probably Tower of Goo. That was just an old experimental game--Most I've heard that have it say this one is much better, since it's a full-sized game. ("Full" being for WiiWare size).

I've seen some previews of it on Nintendo Power, and I plan on getting it when I can get a internet connection up for my Wii.

Bump, but I grabbed this off of steam, and it is awesome. Some of the levels are surprisingly challenging, and I absolutely love the graphic style and the humor.

Oh yeah. It's great. Some of the levels require a pretty creative solution to beat, too. I couldn't figure some of them out for a long time...I'm glad it lets you skip a couple of levels.

I love this game. However, one thing that hooked me is that some nice folk programmed a level editor, which is VERY complex, but has lots of potential. You can basically make anything with it, so long as you have the skills to program it all.
The game, though, wasn't bad for the first run, but without the custom levels, it gets rather dull after that.

Where did you find the level editor?

sourceforge.net/projects/wogedit/This is an unofficial editor, but it was acclaimed by the authors. Also, to get custom levels, you can find some on the 2DBoy main site's forums. Also, to patch levels, you'll need GooTool: goofans.com

Thanks. But it looks like it requires more programming knowledge than I have, so I probably won't be able to make anything.
