What does everyone think of Starcraft 2? I think I might get it when it comes out. I'm not a fan of really anything that Blizzard makes, so that is probably a no. I'm looking forward to Codename: Panzer Cold War. I doubt anyone has heard of it, so look it up. Its coming out in February I think.

Well, Starcraft 2 is coming out in 3 games, each costing like $50. It's pretty ridiculous.

You can play multiplayer with all 3 factions if you only have 1 of the games, though. Still, it is a pretty obvious money-making attempt.

What does everyone think of Starcraft 2? I think I might get it when it comes out. I think it looks great. There's a good chance I'll get it, and I'd like to play with you guys if I do. I'd like to note that although it is being released three times, each one is big enough to be its own game and stand alone. For example, it was announced that the Terran one will have 30 missions.

Unless they have like 7 tiers, and you keep previous upgrades and whatnot, or each mission is extremely unique, that is tooooooooo many for me.

I think only less than 5% of the game is campaigns. The amount of games you get online is enormous. I must have several hundred custom maps for Warcraft 3.

Anyone know a game where you can have like, and upwards of 1,000-2,000 troops?

I can recall you pulling almost this exact same thing on Advance Wars: Days of Ruin, and on a few others. Get the game and then make fun of it if you actually have a believable case, but don't insult something that you don't have but also isn't even completed yet. That's rather foolish.

Well, he knows that he doesn't like games with that many missions. I'm kind of the same way; it gets tedious doing the same thing over and over again. He was saying that, if he it doesn't have certain qualities to the missions, that he probably wouldn't like it when it comes out. It doesn't really look like he dissed it, anyways, he was just stating his opinion on the whole number of mission matter.

I'll agree with tinfoilman and add in that most of the missions in Starcraft and Brood War expansion take at least one hour, and the final mission in Brood War takes around 10. There's going to be at least 80 missions, so the time taken will be unbelievable if they have the same quality.

I just downloaded the old demo to the RTS version of Axis and Allies. It's looking pretty fun, considering the bit of complexity in it. I probably wont be able to get the full version, but this has multi-player, so if anyone wants to play, I'm up.
