I actually wasn't thinking of tactics either ... I just chose my area 'cause it had some pretty stones in the water. I only discovered it had some advantages while writing up my base section.
On topic, the update was speedy, while being interesting with dialog! On top of that, I got inspiration for so many more sage phrases to use.

I realize you've been changing how you write battles. You used to just make troops stop attacking if it was hopeless (remember how piklord had several hundred troops that one time he attacked me, that just idled?), but I see you let my pikmin drown. I'm assuming my general is not fool enough to drown his own troops. Very well.

Well, there were Antennae Beetles telling them to stay in the water...

You used to just make troops stop attacking if it was hopeless (remember how piklord had several hundred troops that one time he attacked me, that just idled?), but I see you let my pikmin drown. I'm assuming my general is not fool enough to drown his own troops. Very well. Read the battle again, and you'll find that almost everything you said is completely void because Antenna Beetles were keeping the Pikmin in the water. According to the battle, your general actually was trying to whistle them out. However, he's not going to win against 80 Antenna Beetles. Additionally, the way you phrased that makes no sense because the drowning Pikmin weren't attacking anything, and the battle you referenced was supposed to talk about how they idled and didn't do anything. That's almost exactly what happened here, because they couldn't do anything against the Antenna Beetles. Copy/pasted straight from the battle: ...but the Pikmin seemed to be controlled by another force, even though Mikhail was doing all he could to whistle them out of the water.
The Planet Protectors had observed what was going on, and had sent their Antenna Beetles out to command the Pikmin to stay in the water.I also mentioned that complaints should be mentioned in a calm way, which will generally mean that you aren't flaming the writer. Shame you didn't do that. I can see that you're angry about the results, but if you're going to act that way, I will take no hesitation in telling you that Hachi's plans were much better and his victory was deserved owing to that.

Indeed, Antennae Beetles are excellent at distracting Pikmin.
However, where is your army Kaka?

I'm not mad (even though you were talking to HE). I just thought my first battle would be a little more exciting.

Oh. Now that I think of it, I should have sent other troops. I still have 60 troops left. Do you think I could have some of them try again while a send in reinforcements?

There's no rule stopping you from attacking again. If you want to continue the battle, just send WD plans for your own troops. EDIT: I wouldn't advise an attack though.
