I've noticed that keeping track of trade routes is extremely complicated. I might, for example, have a trade route from my Base B to my peace treatied person's Base C. I suggest that instead of doing this, we make all the trade routes to all one specific player's base from all of your bases in one go. It might take extra time, but it works much better. For example: I want to trade with X. We each have 3 bases. My Base A has trade routes with his Base A, B and C. My Base B has trade routes with his Base A, B and C. My Base C has trade routes with his Base A, B and C. The time is not determined by base numbers of both of you. It might, for example, be ([Scouting Time for the Area his Main Base is in - 7] * 7 = Time to make all trade routes). Trade routes to yourself take, maybe, 30 days total?

Forgot to put down Hocotatian times, but I still think we should go by this. If we play this version out to the point of 500 days, with 15+ members, the trading routes would drive people mad.
