He has a map of the Perplexing Pool. Shouldn't he know?

If someone has made a base after you scouted the area/bought the map, you won't know they're there until you rescout the area. It's been like this since Pikmin Wars 1.

It wasn't that way last game, it seems redundant to constantly be rescouting the area over and over everytime someone restarts/we get a new member. Especially in this situation where new bases are always being made/remade.

I did remember some talk about rescouting, but didn't remember it becoming a rule. You could be right though, Rydon.

Oh, I thought Petrosian had finished the base. I don't think you should have to re-scout, but bases should not show up until they're finished--Then, any attempt to build another base while you're at war will likely go up in flames. They'll either smash the new one right when the project begins, or if you send things to sit at your new base while it's being built, the enemy just goes for the throat.

Sorry guys, I was forced to be inactive yesterday (sometimes the internet to some USA websites screws up, I remember an underwater earthquake a few years ago that might have caused this.) Anyways, I think it is improbably that he knows the exact moment that I finish the new base.

You're right Petrosian, it would seem a bit improbable to know the exact moment a base is formed.
So, to avoid all these confusion, we will be attacking your main base.
The attack heads out today. Don't worry if you won't be online. Even though the attack will arrive, the mods won't start writing until you get back.

So, to avoid all these confusion, we will be attacking your main base. Hehe, that sounded so formal Hachi. Anyway, while it is a pain to re-scout areas, if we can't, then whats the oint of scouting? Just 60 days of stuff we HAVE to do if we want to know where people are. I suggest either constant scouting, or we don't even have to scout in the first place.

The point of scouting is to check out the area and see where there are any armies. I think that if you scout the area once, smaller groups of troops would be able to check out the area quickly and without the use of a project slot. Continuous scouting would be a pain in the butt, and I know lots of people agree with me on that. No scouting at all, however, wouldn't make much sense. Scouting once is a fair compromise between the two.

How about a patrol project? For a 1-time 50-day project, you know everything that happens in an area for 150 days.
