Joe, seriously, stop whining. Most of the other players don't show nearly so much agitation when they are attacked, often even if they're under rough circumstances. Tinfoilman might possibly be able to catch them on the run depending on how close he is, I'll give you that much, but the rest cannot happen. Rydon put it into perspective well.

I have to leave 50 specials or 500 normals at my base? Curses.
Anyway, if the verdict is that Tin can help, the attack is called off. I didn't even know Joe had an ally. If Tin can't, well, the attack continues as usual. Lemme alter the amount of troops sent.

And it won't nessicarily mean you failed, unless you plan on keeping your troops at my base.

You don't have to leave 500/50, but if you don't your base won't advance while you're out (Projects, troop gain, etc). Edit: Joe...YOU POSTER-BEFORE-I-POST-PERSON.

Oh. Well I'll probably take heavy losses whether I lose or not, so I'll need as many troops back at base as I can.
Also, verdict on Tin?

I always thought it strange that the defender could get there so fast, while attackers marched for days. Are we changing that?

I just know it, wars will be very confusing to me.
Not to mention I'm pretty much the defination of "Easy Target" but that's my fault and I'm coming up with ideas good ones too.
Anyway, back on topic maybe defenders hurry to bases cause they're defending it? Or somthing like that anyway that's my idea.

I always thought it strange that the defender could get there so fast, while attackers marched for days. Are we changing that? Well, I know in the old wars that didn't pose a problem, but now it will since the specifics have been tightened up. Defenders take just as long to get there as they would if they were attacking, so it depends on how close Tinfoilman is if he's going to be able to help.

Well, Tin is at Louie's landing site. Joe is quite litterally on the opposite side of the Valley of Repose. Joe's location is close to the bridges meeting the Distant Spring and Awakening Wood. This means I'm actually fairly close, only having to cross the Distant Spring and a small bit of the Valley of Repose. Plus, I doubt the battle will last so long that I won't have finished the fight by the time Tin shows up.

Although it'll be quite another story for the counterattack.
