Say you research a really powerful ammo or something. Can you give that to any of your war machines? Becuase if you could, then you'd have a bunch of 20 day war machines flying around with these super-powerful missiles.

If you did that, I think it's safe to say that they'd be incredibly weak defensive-wise.

Well if you started chugging out 1 day war machines that use powerful ammunition, someone would call God-Mod.

Actually, the ammunition just really determines how powerful it is.
If you chug out 1-day war machines with these, it would be safe to say if a Purple Pikmin attacked it once it would die and the machine would require a 10 minute charge up before firing.
So the ammo doesn't determine firing speed or defense.

Well, the ammo is part of what determines strength. If you have a much longer, more powerful gun firing the same ammo, the more powerful one will do more damage.

I'd add something meaningful to this, but everything I would say already has, so, uh...
Ham?
In general, Length=Strength when speaking of projects. Feel free to arm up all of your 1-day machines with these things, just don't expect them to be able to move or fire within an hour.
