Use these maps to help decide where your base should go and such. They might also be used to help show how long travel times will be and whatnot. It's actually concept art from Pikmin 2...it'd be great if we could get some from the original Pikmin as well, but it's probably just not there. As you can see, I've added the locations on the map and the names of the minor races...
1) The Bulborb Confederacy 2) The United Blowhogs 3) Empire of the Rising Wollywog 4) The Dweevil Dictatorship 5) The Socialist Crustaceans
...But I haven't figured out what all they'll sell yet. So far, I've decided that one or two should sell resources, another will espionage people or sell maps so you don't have to scout, and another will sell PGCs and mines for lower prices. But I haven't figured all of it out, yet. Have any ideas?

How about one that sells mercenaries, like the random event from version 1? We could also have a merchant's shop, letting us ship things from one place to another for money. Bounty hunters might also work, as in assigning you to kill at least 50 adult Bulborbs in other armies, for, in this case, maybe 250 petals? We could also have a casino or something else where we can bet, and maybe a shop where you can buy an extra project slot for limited amounts of time. And we could have a shop where you can hire people to ship things for you, faster than normal and invincible from attacks. We could have a shop that moves your base for you, allowing you to keep running projects. And how about a rented factory, where they make machines for you if you supply blueprints? Finally, we could have a shop that digs caves to put your base in. The possibilities are endless. By the way, only 5 races would certainly not be enough to have fun. The total amount of ideas we both have come to 12. However, this could be managed by only having 5 races working at one time, with them working in shifts and constantly moving around. I'd be glad to help make the thread for each race.

I'm aware that these aren't armies, but you must agree that smaller merchant groups must of course work on this planet.

I think twelve would make it a pain to moderate, and hard for armies to keep track of.
I think that the Dweevils should sell weapons fo troops, the Blowhogs could sase defenses, the Crustaceans could have the casino that Petrosian talked about, the Wollywogs could sell different types of ammo, and the Bulborbs could do varius projects (given the right amount of materials to do so).

So I think that we could have them work alternately. They could change every 30 days. And I think a Mercenary Shop is badly needed. It gives a use for those petals other than resources. Weapons, defenses and ammo is made from resources.

I'm not saying that the minor races should be taken out, but for God's sake, stop adding stuff to the rules. I know your argument to this is, "It's not that complicated," and let me offer this as a rebuttal: It may not be complicated by itself, but this along with everything else that's been added/changed, plus the normal army rules, it gets pretty overwhelming for new members.
