However, then if you're landlocked, you NEED to make a base on the water if you want to attack a naval base, unless you can transport your entire army via air.

Except as a naval base, you'll probably have a navy AND troops, plus you already have the base.

By lake base, you mean like laketown? Because a huge boat would be weak and impractical.

I'm not a fan of this floating base idea. Maybe as a natural island, like Hachi did this version, but I think that there should just be an economic advantage or somethin' of the like. Or, here's another idea--There are a few minor, staff-controlled races that you can trade with and will offer you good deals if you're next to a body of water.
Luftwaffle, could you show me this guide? I just so happen to have written a Pikmin 2 guide on GameFAQs, and so I'd like to see yours. And it doesn't matter if you have the maps but they're plain, they don't need to have a bunch of stuff on them. We can add that if we need to.

I bought it back when I was completely awful at Pikmin when it first came out. I guess I hadn't heard of the internet... But if I find it, I'll scan in the maps. They aren't much, but they have the general shape, and better maps could be based off them.

You see There's a little game I've decided to run. It's name?
CHALLENGE MODE
Well I was wondering If you guys would like me to run it next version.
RULES
1)Every week I will post 2 challanges. One will be hard and one will be easy.
2)You see once a challange is posted you can sign up for it. You can only sigh up for 1 of the challanges. The harder the challange the bigger the prize.
3) For each challenge you will have objectives to complete. also somethimes There will be secondary objectives.
4)When you sign up you send me plans for the challange you signed up for.
5) You see I'll be grading the plans. When graded i'll be looking for
How quickly you completed the chalenge How much troops died. How creative the plans are. If you completed the secondary objective.
6) I'll write all the battles.
7)The winner will get the prize listed.
Challange example:
Name:Grammar Police Your troops: 3 Man-at-legs Enemy's troops 1 man-at-pegs Objective:Kill the man-at-pegs Prize:2 pieces of steel. *note was approved by Water Dumple*

The Challenge Mode is a good idea Nobertk, but are you sure you can write a battle this often?

Yeah. I have to much free time on my hands. That and I might as well only write the top 2 battles.
