Base Defences are always stronger than machine, if they're the same type of thing and took the same days and recources, right?
For instance, say I have a Base Defence that's a 20 day artillery cannon, with one iron, and it fires BombRocks. There's an enemy artillery of twenty days, with one iron and 20 days. They're the exact same things, except one's a base defense and ones a war machine. If they started fring at each other on level ground, and started firing at the exact same time, which would win?
Because if it's a tie, then there is no point to Base Defenses because you could just leave some war machines at your base to gaurd, and they would have the extra ability to move around.

It's more likely that the base defence will win the battle.
And yes, Base defences > War machines
