Yeah, I don't know if Quick Post was disabled for some other reason from way back in the day, and I'm sure that this won't matter as I'm only a sub-casual member, but I think it's kinda annoying to need to switch to a new page whenever I wanna make a sentence-long post.
Just mah two-cents.

Unless you have crappy connection, it shouldn't make that much of a difference. Plus, it makes you think about your post before you post it, and all members should be able to see the "spell check" option.

It makes a small but noticeable difference in that you can skip a step and directly post after reading, rather than needing to change pages.
While thinking about your post can be important when you're trying to propose a ground-breaking idea, but when I just want to type a sentence I don't need nor should I need to put much though into it.
And spell check is okay if you like to be anal about your posts, but chances are "pikmin" "bulbin" "hocotate" and all the other common words that can be found on this site aren't going to show up as "correctly spelled."

Trust me, you'd be saying something different if you saw some of the messages that have come up. I'm with Rydon here, post quality seems to degrade with that there. You have to click twice instead of once, that's essentially all its nonexistence mean. By the way, have you seen the Orangepikmin Tantrum? It is HILARIOUS.

Well, like I said, it doesn't matter much. My connection's being weird lately, and whenever I try to change pages on a forum, it sends me back to the main page. But I think that it's only a temporary blip.
And no, I haven't seen said tantrum. I remember you posted something that was filled with a bamillion (Censored) on SMKW, but I don't know if that's it or not.

My 0.02 Dollars:
While the lack of a quick post is somewhat of an inconvenience, eventually you'll get used to it and/or be grateful spell check is more convenient, granted most game related nouns show up as wrong. I'm not sure though about post quality degrading with it present. What made you think that way Water Dumple?

Some members of Pikmin Wars cannot spell very well, mainly new members. Making the Spell Check option less time consuming ("I don't feel like clicking reply; I'll just type bad spelling in quick reply.) and immediately noticeable helps with this.

Still, half of the fun is just the bewilderment of everybody. It was so friggin' random.
