No, because it's a 50 day log. You can't create two halves of an Onion at 50 days and turn it into something 100 days.
Anyways, this mock battle was just to prove that rushing is difficult to do, if not impossible. I think my made up army proves that a strong defense is easily created.
EDIT: Now, if I may just post my plans publicly.
1. The Hostess will alert my army about the attack.
2. Flak Knives Turrets are super effective on flying foes, so I'll have them slice those Dirigibugs and Airborbs into thin slices. The Spatula should also be useful in smacking the flying foes. The Blender will activate to grind those Water Blowhogs crossing the water into Blowhog patties.
3. White Pikmin will keep a lookout for Snagrets. The two Tenderizer will get their mace ready to braise the Snargets as the surface. The leaders will then strike the Snagrets with White Pikmin to attack and poison. Blue Pikmin can toss other Pikmin to attack Snagrets or flying foes.
4. The Grills has a Grill Attendent to keep them burning. Red Pikmin can pick up Charcoals to burn enemies. Additionally,Snagrets burrowing underneath the Grills may get burned.

So, in the back will be a Stealth Artilley. It'll find any hill or raised area of ground to hide behind, along with Careening BombLaunchers hiding there, 100 of them, to help the Stealth Artillery destroy machines that come too close. But when battle starts at the Artillery, they'll fly high to avoid getting hit.
The Stealth Artillery will try hitting the Flak Knive Turrets first, then aim for random machines. Some AirBorbs will act as scouts.
The rest of the troops will also gaurd the artillery for a little while, until the Flak Knive Turrets are out of commision. Then the AirBorbs and Careening BombLaunchers will rush the base.
The AirBorbs will swoop in for quick hit and run attacks. THey'll gow low, swipe some pikmin in their teeth, avoid white pikmin, and quickly go back to the air and do it again.
The Careening BombLaunchers will stay very high in the air and destroy machines easily, and also large clumps of troops and white pikmin. They will also go for the Grill Attendant so the grills get cold and will stop working on the grill, making it cold.Their next priority will be all other machines.
All this while, the Artillery will blast random enemy things, going for the Blender first.
The Burrowing Snagrets will jump out at random places, and ambush small groups of troops. If they come across White Pikmin, they will spear them through with their beaks, not eat them.
The Watery Blowhogs not gaurding will rush the base after the Blender is destroyed. They will run as fast as they can and attack all the pikmin. They probably won't survive, so they'll take as many as they can with them.

Just remember, the Optical Illusion area is surrounded by high walls on three sides and with a river in front. All of the natural environment is larger then in the Pikmin game, meaning it's going to be impossible to drag land machines anywhere near base. Not to mention, the water will be deep, not knee height like it was for Olimar. That's why Hocos should also find a good base position.

In the peaceful (if not mildly gory) base of Chef Delish and his apprentice, Chef Torte, all was at ease, except the gentle smoldering of the charcoal on the grill, snoring on the troops, and the whir of the Hostess and attendant. While making rounds, the acute hearing and sight of the robot sentry came to the faint Thunk of a mortar going off, and the silhouette of the stealth artillery in the cloudy dusk sky. Immediately, it sent a signal to the FLAK knife turret and then rushed off to wake the base. ~~~~~ Sweaty, tired, and losing gusto by the second, the 5 subterranean snavian attackers burrowed under the mud of a stream, awaiting word for attack. they felt the thunk above, and waited for the explosion that they knew would follow. That was the signal to wreak as much havoc as possible amongst the ranks of the strange army above. the water was dripping onto there beaks, which was screwing with there already poor perception of location. Then, they herd it. Kerrrskach. they charged. ~~~~~ "Pikmin, Prepare to serve a wholop of Kick-butt!!!" Yelled Torte over the commotion of the ferocious air barrage they were enduring. the hostess had alerted the base to the artillery launched at them, in time to shoot it down before it had a chance to loose anything important. the Flak knives felled the 100 or 200 or so airborbs and dirigi canonbugs between the artillery and got a shot at the explosives container on the artillery sending it to the ground in a fireball that shook the ground. the blue pikmin were sending as many of there comrades in the air as were on the ground, then, another earth-shattering quake shook them. ~~~~~ With a screech of pain, the lead snavian sizzled under the grill, which was still on, and gave the others ample warning to veer course. in its final, useful act was performed by the snake: the grill was destroyed. the coals were scattered very little, jiggled, probably, but not scattered. the heat was cut, the coals cooled a bit, but they could still be thrown. 2 snakes went under the tenderizers, one of them was sent up about 2 dozen feet. it was mistaken for an enemy by the Flak turret, and was rendered useless. but the other smashed both snagrets, but was swarmed by bomblaunchers, becoming useless as well, until the spatula swatted them away. then, a sacrifice was made. ~~~~~ While the remaining snagrets ambushed many troop squads, the poison from the white pikmin mingled with the water in there beaks, eventually poisoning them while coming out of the ground. This was the last resort for the legion. they sent in the watery blowhogs, and darned the consequences. with the bomb launchers and airborbs retreating, the cavalry strewn amongst the remains of machines, the elemental oinkers went in. which soon met with the demise of 150 of the line. the blender took them. but the final few who had the guts to stay from the beginning continued to fell who they could, before they themselves met there loved ones. "Remember the Roots! Remember the Wild! Remember This DAY!!!" were the last words of many. the red pikmin used what coals they could, and 400 or 450 were dehydrated by the time they hit the ground. the rest fled. ~~~ "We have won a great victory this day, my meatys!" Delish said, with mixed tones in his voice, "but we also faced a great price. 3000 and 700 of your comrades fell today. But do not feel sorry for them, as they had passed in a noble fashion. Rejoice, and sing there names. You are to break into groups and bury those who have indeed gone, and tend to those on the brink. Make Quick!" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
