My Progress through the game: Cell Age: Complete Creature Age: Almost done, need one more brain size. Tribal Age: Ask Pikmin(aka bulborbish), he is almost done with it. Civ. Age: Haven't Reached Space Age: Haven't Reached
My plans for Spore: Make a Federation in space age, and crush all in my path!
Random Spore Tip: The color of the star affects the quality of the spice(currency for Civ. and Space age), Blue, though rare, has the best, normal sun is normal spice, and red suns, being common, have low quality spice.

Argh!
I would make a pikmin empire and go around and "crush all in my path!", but they would not have to be in my path to get crushed.

This game is fun. I wanted to make it pikmin theme, so I downloaded pikmin-monky's creations. Sadly, I've only met the Empress bulbaxes.
The Civ. age was my favorite, cause each type was really different. It's hard being economic, especially when a faction hates you and won't open trade.
btw, i made a pikmin-like creature with lvl 4 wings and a mouth instead of a leaf.

Two things have swayed me from getting Spore...
1. The non-creating gameplay is very simple. I was very disappointed when I heard that you could only make one type of vehicle, aircraft, and ship.
2. The DRM protection is over-the-top. If I wanted Spore, I'd buy it from a store, leave it on my shelf, and then get a pirated version without the DRM protection.
I may get it nonetheless, though.

I heard you can get a 2nd vehicle slot (from a developer). DMC?

You can only install the game three times and then you have to call the company for 2.99 a minute and beg them to give you another chance. Want to reformat your hard drive? Have to use another install. Want to give it to a friend? There's another install. Really, it's absolutely ridiculous, and if you look at Amazon.com, about 90% of its ratings are at one star.

Same. I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that they skimped on some features to make it more casual-friendly. I think... don't kill me if I'm wrong...

I bought it. I'll crack it if I run out of installs. Not much of a problem, anyway.
Just got into Civ, started with a Religious city. I converted a nearby Military city and kept it as Military. It was next to the sea too, so now I have Military Vechicles and Boats. I have a lot of income from 2 cities and 4 spice mines, and not much to do with it. Anyway, some city down south is under attack from some other Religious guys from the sea, so I'm sending in my Military vechicles for a test drive. After the battle has finished I'll take the city for myself and assemble a fleet to attack the overseas enemies.
Best moment so far was seeing a Spaceship abduct critters while I was in the creature phase, that was awesome.
