If you played Pikmin 2 you would know that in Olimars journal he states a theory of Man-At-Legs being bio mechanical. If you don't believe me, look at the creature when he opens up revealing the gun. You will see strands of mussel and flesh holding the parts. Olimar also states the gun is not run by Man-At-Legs. I think that if players want to build a Man-At-Legs the need to have three projects. 1. Create the creature itself.(60 day project) 2. Build the michanical parts.(steel or stainless steel. 60 day) project 3. Combine the 2 compleated projects.(30 day project)

You could create one this way, but it's kind of a standard for Man at Legs to be 65 days. The only Super that has to be created in parts is the Titan Dweevil.

In the journal it was stated that it was remotly harmless(Man-At-Legs itself) and that it was posible that it joined with the mechanical parts and that the gun was not controled by Man-At-Legs. Besides if you ask me it spices things up.

No, it just adds more days on. I don't consider that "Spicing it up."

As Rydon, Hachi, and Norbert have said, this doesn't really add anything to the game. We treat them as being mostly mechanical (In the first version, Hachi's Onion smashed a Man-At-Legs by picking it up in its legs, flying high, and then dropping it). They're also vulnerable to the same problems as machines are; namely, EMP. We've been doing 65-days for Man-At-Legs' for too long to make a random change now.
Oh, and Hachi, you don't have to make the Titan Dweevil in parts, it's just that if you want it to have weapons/armor, you'll have to make those individually.

They're more offensive than defensive.

Maybe, if you allow it, make it easier to upgrade it's def and make it harder to upgrade it's atk. If thats possible. Or is that too complicated? P:S it spices thing up because its a challenge in strategic maters.

These things aren't set numbers and mechanics. One person could give an MAL armor plating while another could give theirs a better machine gun.

while we're on the topic, couldn't a hoco just build a man-at-legs-like war machine and then upgrade it to be an organic war machine (aka a real man-at-legs)?

You could, but it still won't be a Super.

Yeah, I was thinking of building one, but it would still be a War Machine and not a super.
