Norbertk19 brought to my attention that Wildlifes, even with Treasure Hunt events, are still weaker than Hocotatians. The reason is that Hocotatians can simply make tech similar to the human artifacts that Wildlifes can use; additionally, they don't have to wait for an event to show up. They can just make a project whenever. So, Norbertk suggested that we allow Wildlifes to make more advanced tech; however, it will take more time, or maybe double the time, to make this tech. Also, to balance it out, I'll just say that they can't make projects longer than 200 days in length. Does that sound fair to everyone?

I was thinking maybe Hocotatian shouldn't gain 150 troops a day, since that is 50% higher then Wildlife. What was the reasoning for that extra troops?

I agree with Hachi. We Hocotatians could just not gain 50% more troops.

Well, while that would help, I don't think it would really make them equal. The problem with Hocotatians lies in their ability to build so much stuff so quickly, not exactly in their troop gain. See, they not only have better technology, but they can make things faster.
But, hey, maybe it's too early to tell.

Yeah it is. We just boosted wildlife by quite a bit and anyway. The first battle was mainly a hoctatian vs. a wildlife and hoctatian lost.

It is true that the first battle, Wildlife won easily, but the Hocotatian side made several big mistakes. Invading an island with no Blue Pikmin? It was just impossible.

He also had no technology whatsoever that a Wildlife couldn't get just as easily. What we need to see is several Hocotatian vs. Wildlifes with special tech in affect.

This might be a bit complicated, but we could have 2 sides: A Hocotatian versus a Wildlife. The stats would be say, 200-300+ in-game days in (or we could just have troop count like that, and just give them random tech.) We would then have 1 person per side make plans, and see how it goes. If the Wildlife or Hocotatian win by a wide margin, we could tone them done.
But, I do not support that idea. It's too complicated.

Well, for one, a single battle won't tell us about the broad picture, and it would also be difficult because folks would probably write better plans for a real battle.
