What's the deal with them now? Do we have to do a blueprints project in order to make a machine type or not? Because frankly I can't afford to do that and I doubt many others can as well.

No, blueprints don't exist anymore.

Wait, then what is Petrosian selling? He said he was selling his flamethrower blueprints.

Maybe blueprints could be made automatically once a project is done. So, if I made a 100-day Mechanical Onion, once completed, I'll be able to sell the plans for that Onion. The blueprint could reduce someone else's build time by 20%. The reduce build time won't apply to factory products. But this might not work well if allies just traded blueprints among themselves.

That basically just means that he was selling the flamethrowers themselves. Also, I think he left.

I'm here, all right. But I think blueprints should negate the research process. I mean, blueprints are basically notes of how something works, so researching would be useless, you already know.

We're trying to avoid them, because it was odd and there weren't any official rules for them last time. You're essentially just selling the flamethrowers themselves.

No, resources would still be required to actually build them. There's no reason why your ally should have to research something he knows from the inside out, and he should if you're a trusting ally.

Well, then there isn't much point because folks could just make them themselves. Flamethrowers aren't above WWII tech, so anyone could make them.

I think that's pretty much what he meant.

I think that's pretty much what he meant. So then it's just selling the flamethrowers themselves. You don't have to research something like that.

Well, flamethrowers were invented by the Germans in World World 1. GOOD flamethrowers, though, that's a different matter...
