A biomechanical version of a Super still isn't a Super - it's a war machine. Indeed. A 50-day mechanical version of a 50-day Super isn't going to be as powerful, naturally, as it will have weaknesses based on what you made it out of. And that's not counting just basic EMP, shock, and so on.

Just commenting on humaan's goldfish example
It started when a fisherman caught 2 orangish carp. He bred them, and got a oranger carp. When this "pet" got around, their owners only chose the best mates, so the stimulated evolution to the modern time goldfish
However, It took more like 3000 years to do this

Actually, the whale dolphin thing is only with a specific type for each, and only because they're in the same family. Also, the dolphin would probably be at a disadvantage for choosing a whale as a mate, due to the fact that dolphins and humans are the only animals that have sex for pleasure, and whales don't do that.
Not sure on the others.

Just stick with the Pokemon example. Yes, you can have different species mixed to pass on certain traits. No more talk about the realities of that happening.
